Saying Goodbye is hard to do.
Many of you have been lucky to know my World Champion Frisbee Dog, Ariel Asah. She was not just a great Frisbee Dog she was my best friend, and companion. Asah was healthy, energetic, and gave it her all for over 13 years. Last August she was diagnosed with Sclerosing Addnocarcinoma, a carcinoma - cancer of the intestine, and even after the removal of the cancer and over 4 inches of her large intestine her prognosis in August was a few days to a few weeks. After her six month battle with this fast growing cancer she lost her battle today. We will miss her.
She was a great companion, hard working, and vibrant dog that changed my life forever. Her determination, drive, athletic ability and love for the disc is something I will remember forever. I remember seeing her at one day old and will always cherish her almost 14 years of life we shared together. Steven and I treasured her last few days and we were blessed to have her as part of our family. So, I wish to say goodbye to a great dog, great companion, best friend, and my world champion partner. We will never forget you and all that you gave us.
